Blocked the ripped break hose and took it to the shop, i hope to change it tomorrow. Also i'm going to fix the clacking of the brakes once and for all, since i've been delaying it for so long!:dancing:

got the motor and transmission back in after getting engine bay sand blasted and hole in shock tower fixed. put ceramic coated headers on. drive line back in. got the fuel pump on. installed new metal gas line ditching the old rubber lines all together. installed distributor with new clear cap and rotor. got the circle track water pump back on. installed valve covers. oiled the rockers a little to avoid a bone dry start.

tomorrow Ill fill the transmission and engine with fluid and oil. also on the list for tomorrow is get the spark plug wires ran. finish the metal gas line to the carb from the fuel pump. install radiator thermostat and thermostat housing get fan pulley center hole drilled out then install all of the belts and pullies put water in prime the oil pump and start it for the first time in almost a year.:dance:

if all that goes well Ill start removing the interior wiring harness to prepare for making my own deleting all of the extra wires that arent going to be used then the list goes on and on from there :rofl2:

Finished most of the bottom painting, just need to remove the fuel tank and take care of that spot, got it up sitting on all four dollies, cleaned up oil pan and put it on the engine, maybe put heads on tonight.

Going to finally install the anti-rattle clips? I've been saying I need to do that for at least four years. :D

Got the Cherry Bombs a few minutes ago, took them out and showed them to MO', he seemed pleased, I'm sorry but this car as good a shape as it's in, was abused in so many ways, the oil pan was full of sludge, had too much oil in the pan 1 3/4 gallons at least, nearly all the oil pan bolts were only finger tight!!I have figured out not everyone cares about their Maverick, but it's kind like an abused kid you gotta show it you care and love it and maybe just maybe, it will repay your kindness and love......I'm taking the short route....buying mine a lot of new gifts!!! who says you can't buy love? I think Mo" will like this finishing touch later.............pic!!

    Lucky!
I could too.... If I had work... Got to love being in a trade and never knowing when you have work.

All I managed to do today was order a new fuse online for my alternator.

I'm not a big drinker (anymore) but it was HOT, I was doing mindless work ( My best work) and they were very tasty. Best part....I got a lot done.

You might want to try a beer or two next time your pushing the Maverick around to cut the grass. lol
