I have long been a fan of the Maverick ever since I worked in a Ford Dealership and  I noticed that very rarely did we see a maverick come in on the hook, they were very dependable:clap:and if they ever came in forr anyting other than a tuneup, it was few and far between.
Back then I would have given anything to have owned a maverick Grabber or the Sprint Maverick, those are still kewl cars.

Thanks for letting me be a member here, right now I am driving an 04 Dodge Stratus, but as of October I hope to be in a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I had several Ford Explorers and all were great vehicles, so I am a big Blue Oval fan.

Oh yeah I am from deep in the heart of Texas and am a model car collector and builder and I specialiize in Fords, and I also collect Hot Wheels and other diecasts.

i am 65 yrs of age, well truthfully I am 64 but will be 65 on October 5, which is about a month away. I am single and a Christian, a minister by trade and a car guy through and through.

Welcome! I've never seen a 4x4 Mav before. What type of frame is it on?

Welcome from Ohio. If you are going to hack one up to make a 4x4 I would recommend using a Comet.
