Ok, finally close to putting her back on trailer and finding someplace to place.
Just waiting for some fuel line stuff, put the new spark plug wires on and she's ready to go.:burnout:

took the comet to the machine shop thinking there was something wrong witht eh heads only to find out theres nothing wrong with them. :thumbs2: just need some fine tuning with the carb and timing.
while I was at the machine shop I ordered a 347 stroker kit and new heads. still need to pay for the 30 over boar and balance but the expensive part is paid.

then I came home and unloaded my car and the neighbor came out of his house waving me to do a burn out (bad influence lol) so I had to get on it a little :rofl2: then I went to the corner and whipped a couple of NICE donuts before bringing it back to an audience waiting for more  friggin neighbors love it as much as I do :Woot::thumbs2:

also went by my cousins house to show off the car since he hasnt seen it since it was stock his kid that loves imports (drives a brand new evo) wanted to buy my car lol

Investigated the source of my "no brake pedal" brake woes to find a cracked flex hose and broken bleeder screw. Finished the day off with a Clay Bar treatment.

Attempted to crank it, gotta get a stronger battery, will try again later, battery I was using is kinda an all purpose for around the house, too weak for this engine though.

Got the engine back together, drove it around, got some weird looks from people, and a guy on a motorcycle gave me a thumbs up. Then when i got home I realized my car never been by another maverick since I've owned it so I took a pic of it near the parts car. [IMG]

Worked on some graphics, there is nothing commercially available for the HotWheels Street Beasts as far as stripes go, so I am designing my own, keep in mind this is a work in progress so it still needs some things like some corners squared and the size is incorrect...but thats the easy part, oh and this is only one side because you design one side then mirror it so they come out symmetrical.
The program I am using is FlexiSign 8, the side stripes will be a lot easier than the hood is, just killing some time on something I would need to do later down the line, I can do the design in a masking or in actual vinyl.

The weather was great so I finely pulled the motor and trans out of the 71 parts car. :D:D
I pulled the plugs and lubed the cyls. Took the valve cover off and it looked fairly clean. There was a little black crusty stuff on the rockers and shaft. The motor turns over and feels like its in good shape. Oil looked good too. The fluid in the trans was red and clear and did'nt smell burnt.

All and all a great day. :yahoo:

Drove it to work, took it out for a joy ride at lunch:chirp:, did one last good full boost pull before going back to work. Go about 500 more feet, get in the turn lane to go back to the shop and the car dies.......fuel pump:cussing: Luckily it didn't die while in boost, then I'd have a bad pump and a bad engine!
