71 Comet 302 chrome altenator brackets

    Hello all, I am currently converting my 1G alternator to a 10 SI style single wire. I purchased a set of chrome alternator brackets for the car (sold as 1965 to 1969) and they did not fit. This is a 302 (347) block with the original style water pump and front timing cover. My question is ....has anyone come across an alternator bracket to fit this year? I hate to paint these as I am trying to make this show worthy. Thanks for any help. Ed
