Ford 200cid with c4 auto. Don't ask me...I am not a long time car nut.
The one in the car looks just like it, welds and all.. here is the link to the replacement part. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...ck=Search_03248_1132096_-1&pt=03248&ppt=C0338

I am beginning to question what the hell is in my car, as it took me 4 months to find a part that matched. I had ordered flexplate/ring gear from napa, autozone and parts plus. As they all told me , and from talking on here with members that it was what I needed...what came wasn't what I needed...:hmmm: The flex plate had no gear on it...nobody could find the gear...I found it when someone mentioned its probably welded on the torque converter...and it seems it is lol. I hadn't pulled it all out to find out...don't have the place to do it yet.
Yeah I am about to scrap the whole motor and transmission as I haven't even addressed rebuilding the motor yet.:(

Look up Consolidated Vehicle Converters and in the ford section you will find the correct torque converter.

Have a good used one if you cannot find one. Was used for less than a year before we swapped out the 200 for a 302 in my sons car.
