I can supply a blue, standard vinyl interior picture if it helps.

while looking at the background of the pictures in post 7 it looks like you could get away with just telling them to match the inserts front and rear.
i have a question does any one know or remember if the buckets ever came with a cloth center other then the black and white checker pattern. ( for future ideas)

Hopefully someone can help me here. I bought some pinto bucket seats which are in pretty decent shape with a couple rips. However they are blue and my grabber has original black interior. Does anyone know if mustang covers and foam will fit? If not why? The 73 mav seats look about the same style and shape but I do notice they might have different foam because it seems the pinto seats sink in a bit more and hug you more. If mustang upholstery won't work what will? Where can I get it? Please help! :hmm:

    73 Grabber,
As far as I know there are no replacement foams or covers for a 73 forward. if your seats look like the ones in the first post in this thread they you will have to do what I did and find a good upholstery shop to do a custom job. Here is how mine came out.

Harley, they upholstered them upside down! :biglaugh: Those look pretty sharp!

Fred (fmc56) is the only person that I know that reproduces '73-'74 Maverick/Comet high back bucket seat upholstery. The foam, however, is not reproduced. Check with Fred on foam replacement/repair.

Pinto seats are smaller, than the Maverick seats.

    73 Grabber,
Upside down? Maybe that's why I can't get them to fit in the car!

They are similar style to maverick I noticed but the bolsters are much more pulled in to hug you. I'm not worried about making them fit because either way I'll have to drill holes seeing my 70 had the factory bench. Does anyone know if they make after market pinto covers?? I might end up just having a shop do it otherwise. They are 78 pinto buckets. I'll try to he a pic up of them for you guys.
