Awesome build! I see u guys are in my state. I see the Illinois plate. I wud hpe to see the car "up close and personal". Do u plan on taking it to some events in the Northern Illinois region this coming year? BTW: Welcome to the site CoyoteMaverick...
This is the kind of build I love to see. One helluva job!! And the best thing about it is the fact that you kept it all Ford. You won't find any haters on here!!!
One of the nicest mavericks on here seems there are a few of us that will spend the big bucks on a Maverick!!!!
"Beautiful paint. What color green is that? In 1970, it would have been A dark metallic green: "Bring 'Em Back Olive" (Viet Nam war protest: Bring 'em back alive.) Today, it is PPG 2146, Dark Ivy Green Metalic Color Code C.
And for any future questions, the interior is; FY - Light Nugget Cloth and Vinyl. Strangely enough, it matches my Sunday suit perfectly! Still trying to find the matching hat though...
Wow, just noticed you are in Freeport (about 60 miles from me). I used to frequent Stateline Auto Salvage there for goodies, but I think most of the old stuff was crushed a few years ago.
The stars have finally aligned as both the '76 Maverick and the '14 Coyote are now in the same shop, in Baltimore. The motor arrived about a month ago and the Maverick arrived the night before last from SC. I understand that the shop's crew are a bit excited to begin the project having seen the RC-107 installed. I'll be going up this morning for a peek and a few photographs as I'm anxious as well. I'd be interested in what challenges you faced and what was done to overcome them, before starting?
