Dirty/Cleaner Here's a couple of Pics before and after a cleanup. Found a few bumps and bruises under the dirt but still not bad for original paint. Thanks for all the positive comments. I'll move it to the Projects sub-forum as I get it roadworthy.
Thats crazy how the tail panel blackout faded away...I didnt know the factory painted black over body color...Oh yeah, excellent score!!
is that just a rinse and scrub with that brush or did you put a little soap on it? it looks like you could clean it up a little more yet if you scrubbed it again with a good soap and a light buff I bet it would come out really clean, good score for sure seems like a really solid car that got saved from the cancer pit of time and neglect
Yep- I just knocked off the mold and mildew with soapy water and a soft brush. It really needs to be cleaned and waxed. Maybe this weekend if the weather will warm up a little. Wonder if this thing came with black wheels from the factory ? Guess it had trim rings at one point. Also no Hood stripe/paint - was that an optional delete ?
