Hello everyone! I've run into an issue installing this grant steering wheel in my comet, it's the cheap kind I know I know, if I had the cash to restore my good old stock wheel I would but money has been tight. I'm having trouble wiring the horn, I removed my stock steering wheel which was the regular kind not three spoke and I noticed that there is no where for me to hook anything up from the grant installation kit I got with the wheel, it's a two wire horn I know that since that's how it connects on the stock wheel but once you pull the stock wheel off there's no cables connected or anything to the steering colum! I'm lost guys I need help >.<

There are two spring loaded contacts that are on your turn signal switch. They make contact on two rings on the bottom of your original steering wheel. To install your grant wheel, you need the hub kit that has the horn disk. It will have those two rings and the wiring for your horn button. :)

Just for anyone in the future who runs into the same problem as me, the correct hub kit from grants for 1971 to 73 mercury comets is the grant 3249 kit!!! :) I'll post a picture of my new grant wheel on my 73 Comet Tommorow hopefully! Thanks guys!
