I have seen a few floor shift automatic 4-doors...very few. Rare options on that car indeed.

couple weeks ago i bought some sports mirrors off e-bay last Sunday figured out they were of a Torino when i looked at fitting them they looked close to the trim so i figured not correct wont work:naughty:. So today i drove 40 miles 1 way in pea soup fog near freezing temps, (can we say black ice) to look at a set from a Maverick only to find out the factory ones sit that close also.

Sanded the pass side quarter all day trying to get it all perdy, it's close enough now that I can move onto the other side until it comes time to block it out.. Lines arent extremely crisp in a spot or two, but the blocking after the car has a couple coats of primer will fix that.. But do I ever love the look of the shaved marker light! So happy I did that.

I'll probably be selling the seats, door panels, arms rests, stg column, stg wheel, dash trim and instrument cluster. The dash pad ain't going.

Just waiting on the transport to arrive.

Installed most of drivers side suspension: UCA, Spring Perch, Spring, LCA, Strut Rod, Spindle.

Getting the spring in was a real pain.

I got my whiteface gauges put together. I decided to paint the speedometer pointer while I was at it. I also learned today that Fluorescent Red survey spray paint, unlike regular spray paint, comes out under higher pressure. When spraying paint into the cap it blew the cap across the yard and splashed half way up my arm before I could let go of the trigger. It's like sticking a needle or small nail in the end of a can of spray paint…it goes everywhere. I’m glad I listen to that little voice in my head that said better take this away from the car.

The Comet was dropped off today while I was at work.

Looks at what I found in the trunk. Too bad it's broke off. The key is even still on the key ring. Looks like it's a paper weight now. :(

I think this car has every option short of an 8 track (if it was available).
