Yep. My son has back issues (Spinal Tumor that has resulted in many surgeries as well as spinal fusion and titanium rods) and is seeing the doctor right now. They took a full panel of x-rays and are sending him to our specialist. We wont know for sure till Monday or Tuesday. He has pain and is stiff.

I am heartbroken for him as he loved this car. It was to be turned over to him officially when he earns his degree.

Don't know yet. Something is bent in the front end, but not sure if it is the suspension or frame. Also the door was pushed up into the body. The entire door jamb section is pretty bad and I noticed the roof is wavy now. Doesn't look good.

    sub frame connectors

built and installed these connectors today wanted them to hug the floor so they cannot be seen hanging under the car. dsc03727_original.jpg dsc03725_original.jpg dsc03729_original.jpg dsc03726_original.jpg dsc03739_original.jpg

Polished the front and back window trim. Only have a week left to get things done before I'm taking it to paint.

Made and installed the part behind the back seat ( not sure what its called ) Then bolted in the speakers. Turned out OK.
It was great to work on the Mav. again......even if it was such a minor thing.

dang, its been a while since I posted on here... I got the ball rolling on my 9" swap. the ranch wagon housing, new posi, and the new reverse eye leaf springs are all stuffed under the car... and since I have been so scarce lately, I guess it doesn't hurt to mention the merrrcomet got a whole new ignition system courtesy of streetfire/msd, and a new set of vanity plates recently...

Put the most amount of miles on her in one drive since the day I brought her home. About 60 miles and probably 2/3 of a tank of gas. Cruised up through Apple Hill and around the lake at Sly Park. It was another beautiful day and a nice drive.

Finally got the maverick parts car fully stripped and sent it to the crusher. Had the rear end sold 20mins after it came out.. Easy money, it was going for its new life in a '29 roadster, motors going this week as well. Leafs are awesome and not sagged- going in the comet :)
Cut the rockers out of it.. And some other stuff; no work tomorrow so it's time to get some work done now the mav is gone.
