    hi everyone,

i am new to this site and i have needed some questions answered about my maverick 351w swap, if anyone could help that would be awesome!

first i am looking for headers for my car, i cant seem to find any that will work

another question is i am wondering about the powersteering problems that come out when putting a 351 in a maverick. i know most ppl dont put powersteering back in but im wondering how that affects the handling of the car bad enough to warrent puttting it in or not

i have read what some ppl have said about putting a 351 in a maverick and besides getting the mounting brackets switched, cutting the strut towers and stuff like that ppl say it fits right in but when i did it i hit the powersteering box. nobody has said anything about hitting that and i am wondering if ppl changed it or what because i had to shave down my manifolds and the box itself quite considerable to make it fit, and i would just like to know what ppl did about that and if i can make my engine fit better

    thanks for the support!

Other than custom, with a 351W I think going with Crites is the best header option.

crites seems to be the only manufacturer that the guys here prefer for the 351
I cant help you any more than that I went with what fit (302) and made it run as much as I can afford and then some lol (347 stroker)
