1971 comet gt hood black stencils for painting?

    i have a 71 comet gt and i am painting another hood to match my car color of ( 8 ) mourning Gold , but where the hood scoop goes is out painted black with a pinstripe of black out ling the black , i know where to get maverick grabber hood stencil,s for that hood , but do they make stencil,s for comet gt hoods, if so ,can u tell me where and the place to look up or call!!!! thanks!!!!!

    Wow if I had overall measurements, I could cut a stencil or vinyl graphic for Comets.

    If you could match these stripe colors, I would say you could sell a couple here and there. (y)

    Well it would be difficult to "match" the side stripes and hood unless you do them both at the same time from the same vinyl, but vinyl has came a long way since I started doing the graphics thing, I have my Grabbers graphics ready to go and I made them from scratch just by measuring it all out and designing it on my PC, anything can be made, just takes time, there are a large variety of colors in vinyls today and they look awesome!

    If someone had an original hood and made a tracing of it, I could scan it (up to 36" wide) at work and create it electronically in CADD. Even a pencil rubbing of one, because if it's like the 71 Grabber painted hood stripe, there is quite an edge where the paint ends.

    If anybody wants to try it, PM me and we'll see if we can make it happen??

    my friend says they could make it out of vinyls stencial , take my hood down to the shop so they could take the mesurements , then lay the base color .lay down the vinal .the clear i hope. we will find out by this late spring!!
