What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

Went hunting for all the body parts to start repairing the damage from the accident. Found a fender, but still looking for a nice pair of doors. Also found some other parts that I have been looking for.

Faught with the old lady about the parts car Comet. She wants me to fix it up. I don't want a 4dr. We're not married so I'll win.

I told her I'd make the Maverick a Comet if she'd pay me to swap the rear panel and buy a small frt bumper and grill.

 

I shelled out for a set of new wheels this morning... expect pics in about a week and a half.

 

drove it to work, wash rinse repeat

 

Tomorrow, I'm going to pick up my frame connectors....

got up expecting Snow lol guess this is enough for total panic around here i bet there is no milk or bread to be found

 

Nothing as of this posting but the plan today is to get the new clutch cable on, clean the carb, put bolts back in the motor mounts and bleed the brakes one more time, I gotta find my jacket first....it's 33 degrees here now!!

I know, I once stopped in London Ky over night, it was lightly snowing, and everything was closing early..and the next morning, even the Waffle House was closed..

 

Went out in the garage, threw away an empty beer can that was on the cowl.
