Interchanging Parts ??

    Ok, can I interchange hoods on a 1975 Ford Maverick, and if so what years can be used ? It's a base model.
    Also how about the grill & lights ??

    All Maverick hoods, grills, and lites interchange regardless of model year. Obviously if you use an early Maverick grill with no lites you will have an issue since the early ones had the bumper mounted lites. Comet does not interchange with Maverick.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Actually...Comets of the same vintage will interchange with mavericks. You just have to use a comet grill/bumper( Small bumpers that is) if you use a comet hood on a mav. If you have a 74 up mav/comet the bumpers are the same...Soo... Yes, you can use any year mav hood on any year mav.

    Ok thanxs...I just heard that the grabber hoods are different than the base models.

    they are the same as far as mounting/fit...they just have scoops on them to look like a performance type hood...:yup:
