    Hello!

Ive asked before, but im trying to do some moe research about headers in a 1973 mercury comet gt 302, stick 3 speed, power steering. IS their any set of headers that can go in without having to cut out the shock towers at all? I dont want to alter my suspension. I have access to a hoist at my school in my auto shop if that helps. my collector diameter is 2.5 inches, im not trying to spend a fortune on a new exhaust system if i can just put in the stock manifold and lose a couple horses.

    thankkssss

I have Heddman headers on mine and they cleared the factory clutch linkage. I believe the Hooker 6901's clear the linkage as well. Both of these fit within the shock towers. With any long tube headers though you are going to have to get a drop down bracket for your power steering.

Where ever you buy the headers, they will have them, they are usually made by the header manufacturer.
