Just getting all my stuff ready to go back in and want it the best way possible.. So where did you drill out and head down to the trans pan with the temperatur line.. I was thinking just under the neutral safety switch plug in on the firewall then run down to the trans..( PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE'S A BETTER SPOT :) ) That way i can run my coolant temp out the same hole..And now the next question where should I weld the bungs in the trans pan, driver side? Or rear? Should I weld in a spare bung in the bottom for a drain plug too? ( trying to think ahead) Anyways.. Thanks in advance.

I thought you had a trans cooler other than the lower radiator, or am I wrong.
As for the bungs, I have one on the side for temp and one on the back bottom for a drain.
My cooler is mounted up infront of the radiator and my lines run along the right side of the frame with aluminum 1/2" lines and braided from the solid lines to the trans................about 8" of braided line.

Sorry yes i do have a trans cooler running the lines in the same spot...guess i should clarify what i was talking about..i was wondering about the copper line coming out of the trans guage, what route should i take with it, through the middle of firewall or lower down as im not sure the engine bay heat would effect the line too much.?

So, I assume you have a mechanical gauge then if you are talking about copper line.......................if you run it in the engine bay I'd use "cool tube" or something like that to wrap it...........copper conducts heat pretty well.
