Hey everyone, been lurking around this thread for a wile now since i've bought my 73 Maverick Grabber. Thought I should finally join the ranks! After a good amount of research I've decided I want to go the 351 path, hopefully with a t56 behind it. I've never built a car but have done some work to a few, like take out transmissions and I have done a few timing belts but I know my goal is going to be way more involved than I have ever been. Just got married, bought a house and having a baby June 8th so its going to be a budget build. Just turned 30 and I'm hoping to get this done before I'm 40 lol. Anyway thank you in advance and any tips tricks or advice on this build is greatly appreciated!
from Wisconsin. There are many guys here to help you along the way. My advice, - Take your time and do it right. If you try and take shortcuts for budget reasons, it usually comes back to haunt you with added costs later on. Oh, and post pictures, we love pictures here ......
Not sure where in Northern Cal you are, but there are a number of guys close that could lend a hand.................or help supervise if you've got some cold refreshments....................just let us know.:Handshake
That would be awesome! I live in San Jose. That would work out pretty good... i'll supply beer, you supply the knowledge, hell I might even have the wife throw in a meal after we're done hopefully you're close because after reading up on facelessnumbers thread, i'll probably need all the help I can get.
No way! Right on, my only car buddy i had (who owns a comet) joined the AF and is stationed in Arizona, definitely going to have to pick your brain
