Here's a vid of my daughter's Father In Law last night at the Outlaw Street Race at US60 Raceway in Hardingsburg Ky. It's actually a compiled video with the first part being my GoPro footage, and the last part from the camcorder at the line. About as close as you can get to the wall without hitting it lol...it was a nice save.

Yeah, the GoPro was mounted right behind the door, so it didn't actually get as close as the rear did lol. I had just moved it from the rear quarter panel a couple of passes before...it would have been toast if I hadn't. Go figure. It would almost have been worth it to leave it where it was, just to get the footage lol...

If you start and stop it from the camcorder view, you can see it went to the left as soon as he left the line.

Yeah, they stepped up the tune on that pass. They were spraying a 300 shot coming in progressively from the release of the transbrake! It overpowered the track at the hit, and was torque steering to the left until he finally just lifted and called it a day lol. Car has run 8.70's in the 1/4...but was nowhere near that yesterday. This was an 1/8th mile track/race, and the best we managed yesterday was a 5.60

Season is just getting started here. and track was still green. The sun was out, nobody got hurt, and nobody wadded their car up, so all in all...it was a great day at the track :thumbs2:.
