Power steering hoses

    Hi all just a question i would like to replace the hoses on my comet....from the pump to the cylinder/control valve. The question i have is that i found all hoses but can some one tell me after they leave the pump they come to ablock thats bolted to the sub-frame what is this and do i need it thanks frank:thumbs2:

    My original hose had that holder also. I didn't replace it when I changed the hose because the new hose was a bit shorter. I played around with some different positions and came up with one that gives the hose a nice gentle bend and doesn't hit anything when you turn either direction. If you got an exact replacement hose ( I couldn't find one ), I would use the holder and route the hose as it was originally. :)
