    2 weeks from yesterday.
    Hopefully there will be more Mavs/Comets then anything else this year.

    Ill be driving my rental car. Which is a ford. so Ill blend in... kinda...

    I wont hesitate to do some donuts, or attempt to burn outs :) Isnt that what rental cars are for?? To TEST drive the hell out of them...

    Make a list here of what you need and maybe somebody will have it. Personally I don't have squat for parts, but some of the other guys might.(y)

    yes make a list of parts I dont have much but I will have plenty of room in the truck for whatever

    its still kinda in the air if the blue car is going to make it. Im planning on driving the blue one up but the last few test drives havent went well.
    the first test drive we found the trans mission to be slipping badly so mike changed it and now the motor keeps over heating. I think the over heating problem the first time was from me driving the living snot out of it :D
    Im trying to make whatever is going to break break now before we try to take it on the incredible journey to the show :biglaugh:
    the transmission is working great but we had the vacuum hooked up wrong and it was down shifting to second gear at almost 40 miles an hour so that was causing some problems. but man I LOVE THE SOUND OF HIS CAR! I have a hard time keeping my foot out of it :rofl2:

    the boy is going to have a hard time keeping gas in it thats for sure. it took $10 to run a 5 mile round trip test drive but then again I ran it up to 90 on the freeway so that doesnt help

    Well...good news is that my car is running and driving okay.


    I am having steering problems not sure if I can make it all the way up there.

    sweet looking forward to seeing you there even if you do bring a maverick :biglaugh:

    didnt john say he was coming for sure? and didnt a couple of other guys say they were coming check my thread maybe?

    me and mike are looking forward to going were going to try a thermostat in his car to see if that stops the over heating problem other wise we have to scramble to figure out the problem radiator or heads since its got a new water pump.

    Well at least two of us Maverick guys will be there to give you crap.:rofl2:

    John had knee surgery about 2 weeks ago(I think), so I'm not sure if he is going to make it or not. Hopefully he is feeling better and shows up.

    dont count out biker buck doesnt he run a comet? he said he was coming.
    ok now just for that maverick crack I have to MAKE DAMN SURE THE BLUE CAR MAKES THE TRIP! EVEN IF I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PARTS :rofl2::D

    okay off to autozone for parts....no wait thats tomorrow

    took the heads out yesterday and today take the motor out to clean it i hope i can put it back tommorrow :)
