I was talking to junrai earlier tonight(before my phone died) and he mentioned bring some extra parts in case you need something.

Im stoked, gonna take ton of pictures for the forum so those who couldnt make it can enjoy it too without the burnt tires, and gas smell

 

I cleaned up my car today and got her ready to take home the trophy. The past few years I have gotten 2 votes each year and 1 of them has always been mine.

I'm getting excited!! I really hope I have no troubles on the way haha. I got mine cleaned up the best I could. Looks good from a distance!!! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

 

I still havent finished cleaning up my car but I did manage to get some new tires put on today so even though its not driving up there it will arrive in style with some new shoes

my engine builder said he might head up the hil to stop by since he lives in cameron park.

my kids car has been fighting the whole way even after having open heart surgery it still wants to give up problems but it looks like it will make it. well have to watch and see if it makes it.
if it breaks down half way Im leaving it there
















until I drop my car then Ill have to go back for it.

 

just give me gps where the car is... i bring my tools and "watch" your car

Get me some parts I need HAH!

The things I do for Mavericks...

I am so exhausted -- My shoulder is/was killing me ALL night. I couldnt get to bed until about 330-4am. Its now 730. Id rather be sleeping, but instead Im getting ready to walk out the door and drive 2 1/2 hours to come hang with you guys and see the cars

 

Im going to be late....still waiting for my buddy to get here so we can leave. And its over an hour drive from my place. Hope he shows up soon

 

Wont make it crashed my motorcycle last week and busted my knee.

 

The show turned out well today. junrai and MichAnJD showed up with their Comets. We also made a couple of new friends, Pace'70 made it in his Mav and Lzoesch showed up for a bit. They are all nice guys and it ended up being a good day! Hopefully we can all get together again. At least once a year at the car show. Sorry I didn't hang out a little more, but a couple of times I had to go sit in somebody's mini van and put the seat back and relax. I should not have been there that long because of my back, but there was no way I was leaving early with my Mav and Comet buddies there. Will be posting a few pics and for anybody who is interested, the winner was a 1969 Chevelle. He had the most family there to vote for him.

 

had a great time looking forward to the next show just next time your folks need to expand there drink menu and add some long island iced teas

it was awesome to finally see your car and meet teh other guys now I have a face to put to the posts. great bunch of guys

oh and what fun it was to have curb hopper there even though it had me HOT for a second. great people there and some really nice cars

cant wait to see the pics of us all lined up.


I still think pace70's car was the nicest out of the mavericks and comets.
even if it was a I6 4lug car

Thanks junrai!! Im glad you guys like it even if it has a I6 haha I had a great time seeing and meeting everyone. We should do it again soon!! Ill try and post some of the pics I took. Got a few videos of junrai's car running down the street loosing bubble wrap out the window!! haha Did the curb hopper make it home fine??
