Hi all, I am a newbie with a 72 Maverick faux Grabber. I am in bad need of the rear quarter moldings (chrome with black insert), especially the Drivers Side. I could also use a better drivers door molding. I pieced my car together updating a Six Cylinder car with 5 Bolt Rear End, Front Disc Brakes, 302 and C4 trans. I am preparing to install a HO 302, AOD, Narrowed Explorer 8.8 disc brake rear and larger front discs, sway bar, and spring tower intertie. Just for fun I race a stock bodied 1953 Studebaker with a 396" Dart BBC/Lenco 4 spd running in the A/Classic Fuel Altered Class at Bonneville and burning Methanol with up to 30% Nitromethane for fuel. Best time so far 238+ for the standing mile (average). My Maverick is a great get around car and although it is a 50 footer, I get lots of thumbs up and the goofy Honda drivers Love IT! Welcome Welcome frm Northeastern Illinois Bob. Looks like u have a vast background in the car hobby and no doubt can contribute to the knowledge base that exist here. U might also post the parts ur seeking on the wanted section of this forum. There several people who have parts here they sell. Im sure u will find some what ur lookin for. Anyway, lookin fwd to following what u accomplish on ur Maverick..
