Who's car is this, and does anyone know how to obtain the "template" needed to get metal bent to make a engine bay like this?? I have access to a break, and metal.. Just want to know the measurements between bends/angle etc. If possible.
I have no clue as to the owner of the posted vehicle or to which fabricator he used, but you can give these people a call if you'd like: http://scottrodfab.com/maverick.html#Maverick_engine
That is a Rod and Custom RC-107 kit. Swaps out all the old suspension parts, shock towers, everything, for a coilover rack and pinion Mustang II suspension. I am doing an RC-106 swap, no coilovers, just regular springs. I have not filled in the holes where the shock towers are, yet. This guy redid all of his inner fenders, rather than just the cut out shock towers.
dang scooper that looks sweet!! hopefully next years project will be that as well.I know who i will be ringing up if I have any questions on that swap
Thanks, man!!! Getting the kit welded in, and engine and trans back in is only half the battle. Still need to replumb the brakes, fuel, and adding a 150 shot of nitrous into the mix, so lots of new additions. Also going cold-air, since the nitrous plate raises the air cleaner too high to close the hood. Lots of work going on here...
