Years ago, 1990-91 I was building a '71 Maverick to drag race. It had been a drag car since '72 or '73 with a Boss 302 . Anyway, I sold the car before I had it done to a gentleman in Solon, Ia. He stuck a small block Chevy in it and I did get to see it go down the track at Cordova Dragway. Here it is 19 years later and I would like to have it back. My son is now 21 years old and we would like to drag race rather than run a circle. My Maverick was Grabber blue/silver and I had back halved it. The shock towers were removed and I replaced the front suspension with a '75 Mustang 2 assembly. The car could be in the Rockford, Illinois area. I sure miss it. Of all the vehicles I had, this is the only one I talk about. I can post pics of it if I can find them. Please let me know if you have seen or know where it may be. Thanks.

Well it was sold without a title cause I couldn't find it. This vehicle was not street legal, at least at that time. I will post pix later. Thanks for the info and help
