    Okay, its time to replace the tired old shocks that are on the rear of my 75 maverick. Any suggestions on type/brand to use and that you have had the best experience with? Thanks!

    For a Maverick that's just gonna get driven on the street, whatever O.E. replacements you can find at the local auto parts store are just fine.

    If you're going slalom racing or auto-crossing, KYBs are excellent.

    F.Y.I.: for a truck or SUV, never ever buy cheap shocks. You'll get what you pay for.

    For Mavericks, standard run of-the-mill shocks are just fine for most uses.
