Got a couple calls from Summit today about a set of seat adapters for a Maverick. Anyone looking for seat adapters for our cars? Oh BTW I work for Scat Crankshafts, we also do Procar seats.

Procars are nice. I am almost to the point of buying a set. Maybe this fall, IF it ever cools down here in Houston!!!

Do they make them for our cars? I'd buy a set for sure.

They go between the seat, and the floor.

We have Procar seats in the comet, chevelle and mustang :) love em..i have mustang pans now...but it is a good idea for lots of people who buy cars with destroyed mounts or missing.

Dave B is correct, seat adapters bolt to tbe floor, seats w/sliders bolt to the adapter. Currrently, we only carry the universal kits to mount Procars in a Mav/Comet.. I wish they made direct fit seat adapters for our seats.. However I may have a solution- I will ask about a custom run of adapters... Out of curiosity what would the interest be for adapters for O.E. bench or O.E. bucket cars? The 73+ cars have different mounting holes too right? Be advised that the adapters would be made for Procar seats and may not fit other brands.

Make them to fit 70-74, bucket seat cars. The 75's and up with the hump, can be changed, so there is no need to try and make 2 different sets. I've installed a few sets at my buddy's shop, for 68 Mustangs, they are pretty slick, and make it easy.

Not sure how complicated it would be to have made, what expense is involved, etc., but if you have to make more than 20 sets in order to justify the expense....I would say not to do it.

If they made them with bolt patterns to fit both the Procar seats and standard Ford buckets (13" front-to-back, 14" in width), I bet they would have a crazy amount of demand for them.

Did anything more ever come of this? I would be interested in a pair of these floor brackets.
