You can use the provided vents that mount on the bottom of the dash (vents are in the picture) or get creative and put vents in the dash like factory did. If you have a factory A/C dash you can route from the new box to the existing vents.
The a/c lines are only finished on the evaporator side. You route the lines as needed, then trim them and put the ends on then mark the line and fitting. Once this is done you take them back to have the fittings attached permanently. They will use the witness marks you put on them to be sure they line up when finished...
You call them and give your make/model and some measurements and they make you a kit. This is one of the comanys I looked at, sounds like a good price.
Call vintage air they have a website expect to have around at least a grand in it after everything is done but hey if she is happy you will be happy
Not sure if anyone has but my brother has a 99 Cobra and he'll be out of town for the next month for work. I could go gut the car while he's gone and give it a try!
