    Ford plug-in hybrid owners are making the most of the vehicles’ 21 miles of gas-free all-electric range, using them for mostly short trips or commutes, and operating in electric mode nearly 60 percent of the time, according to new aggregate data collected from Ford’s MyFord Mobile app.

    Since I have been retired, I rarely drive more than 20 miles a day. I would be one of those candidates for an EV! I think as time goes on, more folks will accept EV's. Once the battery technology improves the range, I expect " gas guzzlers " to wain! This, of course, does not include our classics!!! (y)
