If someone with buckets has their seats and carpet out can you tell me the height and angle of bucket seat stands compared to the front floor pan? Thanks in advance.
A 1970 never had bucket seats from the factory. Add to that the fact that the 1970 floorpan is different than the 1971 and up Mavericks. I say that to point out this: The measurements you will get will not really correspond to YOUR floorpans.
I know, I'm just trying to get an idea of how the seats fit in the later cars. For the past 39 years I've just had the seats bolted to brackets that I welded up and in turn bolted those to the floor. Starting to get some small cracks in the floor pan around those holes so I figured while I'm fixing/reinforcing those areas I might raise the seats some, I think they sit too low and not at the right angle. The front floor is the front floor, that's where your feet land in any year car.
