What door sills work for a Comet GT?

    As I restore my Comet GT, I may want to buy new aluminum door sills. I do not see any listed with AutoKrafters or Ebay for the 71 Comet. Do any of the Mustang, Fairlane or Torino sill plates work? Or, do I need to clean up the ones I have and be happy? Thanks!

    71-73 mustang. What's the sticker on a Comet? Does it say Ford, or Mercury?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Auto Krafters sells some for a Maverick, that is where I got mine. They would fit a Comet. Probably fit a Mustang or some other car, which is why they are available.

    Not sure about a sticker.. What I remember is mine say Ford.

    Most good Mustang suppliers have an assortment of the different ones Ford used.
    I dont know what AK sells them for, but I bought a pair of reproductions in Ohio for $20.

    The sill plates were different in 70 so am I to assume no one makes a re-pop of them?
