    One word of warning on the AOD swap, you'll need a different transmission cross member for it to fit right.

    Frank Cooper (71gold) used to make them, but its been a while since I purchased mine and don't know if he does anymore. I can tell you they are good, quality pieces as I have one in my Comet GT project.

    Is the difference something one could rectify with shop tools on the c4 cross member for the v8?

    I have torch, welder, drill press and medium small Chinese lathe.
