Header problems !

    Wow thats more in the way of those shortys than it is with my hooker 6901's at least I could turn mine quite a bit, I really don't know what to tell you, how long is that stub out piece of pipe you have on there now?
    As far as the cable goes as I said I put aluminium tape and a pipe on mine, looks like you could reroute it like I did and get a better straight on shot at it too.

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    The stub is only about 2" long . I have rotated it all around and I don't see how it's gonna work .

    You need to cut the ball socket off, and then snake some bends around everything. Having it dump closer to the firewall would be ideal.


    You can cut these up, they have tight a radius.

    Wow , been looking at some old threads . I didn't realize how Many people had to modify stuff for the shorties for one reason or another .

    Good idea but my pockets are not that deep .

    I think a muffler shop will be able to work around it.
