    It would be a transformer. This is what he told me a while back in an email. "12 ~ 24 vdc and an imagination is all you need."

    FYI .. the light source used in these projectors get incredibly hot. They generally have a Heat Sink on them. That is why they are meant to be puddle lamps only on when door is open. Does the seller of these recommend they be left on for long periods of time like at a car show ??

    Can the Comet light be taken apart and used as spare parts for the Maverick light? :D

    Seriously though, they both look real good. Looking forward to getting mine! :bouncy:

    I have just ask about recommended time you can leave them on at show and whereever, I am thinking a relay/timer that will light it for a minute and shut it off for maybe like three minutes doing that in cycles for both of mine, should work fine for cool down, if nothing else I do have some computer fans that are 12v I can use to cool them quicker, I have some pc fans for my console to cool the Media Center I have installed, after all if you're gonna drive something hard....cool it well!

    Ok importaint information, if you want either a Maverick or Comet light, get your order in asap, they are $45.00 a set, I spoke with Carl yesterday, he is not going to be offering any more light sets after the stock he has on hand is gone, this is the only chance as far as I know to get one of these light set designs in Maverick Or Comet, once these are gone that's all folks!

    Carl said about a week ago.......
    ==> I will have 23 Maverick light sets f/s-
    ==> I'll have 17 Comet light sets f/s.

    These numbers have changed so I don't have a clue how many he has left as of today, he does have several other designs available, Corvette, Ford Blue Oval Script, the Punisher and more, you can e-mail him personally and inquire as to what else he has at..... x-dea@hotmail.com $45.00 a set, if after so long he has any Maverick or Comet light sets left, I may be able to purchase the rest but I will charge more in the future for the same set you can order now, there will be no more made.

    Thanks to those who have ordered already! :tiphat:
