Any of the writing on it give it away?

Think I saw a jack like that in a late 90s early 00s Volvo once. Don't know if it was original to the car though. I only remember because I was really impressed with how much easier it was to use than the POS jack in the voyager I was driving at the time...

Theres a sketch of an S60 jack on this page:

Not positive they are the same, but may give an idea were to look if you want to persue it further.

Thinking its not Volvo at all though so I'm gonna stop looking at pics of them now lol...

Lots of 80's GM cars used a jack like that. The hump on the lift pad fits in a hole on the frame or sub frame. An improvement over a bumper jack, which couldn't be used on the new rubber and plastic bumpers anyways.

My mom had one of those for a 90's model gm car. Don't remember what kind of car it was now though.

I too believe it is a GM jack. I have one and use it on golf carts. I like that it is only about 2" high when it's all the way down. :)

My wife had one like that in her 80's S-10 pick up. Nice wide base, easy to use. Like others have said, the round part on the tongue fit into a hole on the bottom of the frame of the vehicle.
