Sadly I parked the 74 in the back yard to start parting it out and shoved the 70 in the garage for the same reason. Almost had tears in my eyes as I took that last drive around the block in the 74.

hi guys, finally did something to my 69.5.put some new rubber, went with some 205/70 14's,man what a difference in handling, ride and looks.i had previously lifted the rear end by adding some leafs, left rear was sagging a little more, added extra one,and it evened out, wanted a suttle rear lift, not to drastic, new tires filled in spaces well.still deciding on body&paint,my interior needs work, but i can drive it more now.kind of like the way it looks.will try to post pics soon!

had a busting up at 5500 RPMs. called MSD and the tech told me my...Ignition Controller... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-6010/overview/ .....has a preset 5500 rev limit from the factory. Effie took her laptop and reset it to...6100 RPMs and the test drive showed that to be enough...:thumbs2: shifting with the shifter selector in drive, 6000 is where it shifts into 4th gear at WOT...
    thanks Sweetheart...XOXOXO

    Nice touch, Frank :yup:

Are your sill plates anodized or painted black? Black paint on aluminum would be a bear to keep from scuffing off I would think

my...fiberglass Grabber/cowl hood...had no hole for the prop rod. I drilled a hole in the...hood latch mount...for it. the rod is now more center of the hood.

Picked up my block, head and crank from the machine shop today. Its going to have to sit a bit before I begin assembly so I have the crank and head under my bed to prevent rust from forming. I hope the wife doesnt notice!:shhh:
