Okay so I started fiddeling with timing, vacuum, and what not in order for the car to act right and I finally came to a good point where the car runs well and sounds good and does not rev to high...or so I thought. It seams to randomly run rough or do a roll. I dont quite know how in which to describe the noise except it sounds flat and muffled. The noise happens randomly and it effects my performance to where the car is really hesitant and takes longer to get up to speed. What I have noticed is that this only occurs once im up to speed (the highway,60mph) but even when I come down the issue persists. Any one have any clue to what this may be?

Check the timing again. If the noise sounds like marbles in the engine, it may be too high and getting pre-ignition, which is not good for the engine. Get #1 piston to TDC and set the rotor button to point to #1 on the dist. cap. Hope this helps.
