For burning rubber......the cop was going to let the guy go with a warning, but the doofus got smart mouthed and talked himself into a DUI arrest. Blue Mav beater.......owner couldn't decide if it was a 72 or 74 (it was a 72) Episode was titled "Dazed and Confused"
Although not posted in this section of the forum, it has been noted. Guys like this are definitely their own worst enemy. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=92178&highlight=cops
The cop told him that he once had a 74 Gran Torino and that year must have stuck in the driver's drunkin' skull - he gets my nomination for a Darwin Award
The guys my friend haha, just caught him on a bad night and by the way it's not a beater it has a built 289 hi-pro, we laugh about it every time we see him, really a good honest kid though taught him a good lesson
I still need to find a copy of this episode, because I am almost positive this is the Maverick that used to be in my apartment complex, but has been sitting behind a local repair shop since about a month before this episode aired. The first time I saw that Mav was when it tried to race me off a red light. Just saw your post MaverickNick... perhaps you can clear this up for me? I'm just curious. I'm the guy in NoPo/St. Johns with the rusty white GT.
Yeah it's over off of Richmond, he can't drive it until he gets his license back, if you every need any parts let me know
That's part of the episode - I still have to laugh when I see how calm and sincere he was when he started out and then of the meltdown that got him arrested LOL!
Hahaha guys one of my friends and he will never live it down, at least he got a Mav on cops though...lol
