It will be very close to stock seat location so, I would imagine it won't be to off. Also going with a 5 point harness. .

Then, I doubt you'll be using the factory location.

Although mine is somewhat like yours, my stock attachment points are a long way from the originals...............I'd wait until you have the steering wheel and cage in before I'd start welding seat attachments........IMHO

It's good to get things worked out in your mind, part of the creative process. Brainstorming doesn't tend to follow the order of construction. As long as things are planned out before the cut and weld it's all good. I think it's great that you can think out loud, not something I'm very good at.

Yeah, you definately want to think about it & take your time. It`s easy to cut metal out,but much harder to fab it & weld back in.

    hehe :) Yessir!

Took some measurements, and brain storming how I am going to do the floor plan. I took some quick measurements and this is kinda what I came up with.

    Idea's?

Do you think 23" is sufficent enough for seats, and distance between the doors/body?

Can anyone take measurements of a C4 transmission?

From inner wall, to inner wall of the floor plan (inside of the rocker panel) is 52 3/4" across, so to stuff the C4, drive shaft, and seats in is gonna be a little tricky :)

I am trying to go similar to the camaro below, with the high up transmission tunnel. I will be incorping it into the custom dash I will be doing. (05 Mustang Dash base/custom)

Oh, those I just placed there to hold the dash just to see what It will look like when its leveled. I had to hold it into place to mark the holes to drill for the screws.
