No sir, I work in Marietta. I think I know who you are talking about though. He has a green 73 but I haven't heard from him in some time.
His saw his maverick a loooong time ago, and it's what inspired me to want to build one. Between cars, motorcycles and firearms I think I've covered all the basics. I actually ride a box since I'm a medic, I also am in nursing school.
Awesome to hear man! I'm a basic myself (have been for 4-5 years) but am also a part-time firefighter when I'm not working my full time job as a fire apparatus designer/engineer. My wife is a medic as well and a nurse in the ER. Some day I'd like to go to nursing school too!
Saturday morning marks the start of diving into my new project. A couple friends and I are tearing the car down.
Get a lot of boxes for the pieces and a lot of plastic bags for the hardware and small pieces - label everything and GOOD LUCK
That was the plan. Lots of baggies, and luckily I have a pretty substantial garage and basement. Coming soon will be a list of want to buy.
One of them has had two corvairs, and a 72 f100. The other two are gonna be mostly tasked with simple ( read hard to mess up) things. I myself used to build track cars and have spent most of my automotive life cleaning up others mistakes.
