I got my heads back from the builder today, they look nice! He did a great job on the exhaust ports for me, now they just need a few coats of Ford Blue paint. I have descided to put everything under the hood back stock appearing except for the sound. I will be adding an 85 model Mustang dual snorkel air cleaner I picked up on e-bay and will paint it blue also and add a Maverick 302 H.O. decal I'm getting made up.

Don, I picked up a set of 92 mustang 5.0 heads and had them ported and gasket matched. I had a set of rebuilt 79 heads and was told they were junk for my application so I swapped them to a buddy that was rebuilding his truck engine for these, he didn't care what type of heads he put on it so it worked great for both of us.

You got a good set of heads. With the port work you should be happy(they're not all that bad stock);my car went 9.05 w/stock heads, after porting and NOTHING else changed it went 8.79(1/8 mile times of course,on motor)can't recall mph,but it picked up some as well(y)

Well I'm not too worried, the only racing I'm gonna probably do is to the parts or grocery store and a car show here and there. I just wanted to put a better set of heads on this before I do this engine swap, while everything is accessable.
