Hello enthusiasts! I am the new owner of a 1970 Ford Maverick. In fact, it was this site that helped me make my final decision to trade my 2006 Mustang Convertible (salvage title) for the Maverick. I always thought they were kinda cool, but had no idea there was such a following and so many devoted groups existed! I learned a LOT in the last few days about the Maverick just from reading the insane amount of knowledge and documentation that exist on this site. You all can rest assured, I will be picking your brains (and bowing at your feet) a whole bunch as this journey rolls along! So back to the car, she has a 302, not factory, with a 5 speed manual tranny and an 8" rear end that has been freshly rebuilt with 3:08 gears. It needs a Lot of adjustments and some quality time, but it seems to be a good starting point. The interior is clean and all there. All in all a pretty clean car. Thanks in advance for all the help you are about to give!!
