Wow that looks like fun .......... :bouncy:.......... wish we had places like that yet around here. They have all been shredded and crushed.

But definitely no picnics in our weather today. When I went outside this morning it was -16F (and that is not wind chill - straight up 16 below)

I see a Grabber trunk lid on the back of your picnic table - tell me that you were having snacks on a real Grabber hood or maybe it was just a 70

Looks like everyone had an enjoyable time!

Does the white Mustang has a good trunk lid and the center & passenger side dash trim? I'm also looking for a serviceable radio mount, but that's a long shot.

Bob, it was a sweet '70 flat hood...no rust. I got the perfect trim from it a month or so ago.

Scott, we didn't look at the Mustang closely. The Mustang has been sitting there for a few years. Here is a better pic of the 'stang. http://1bad6t.com/extra4/100_4293.jpg

Same here, nothing but new stuff in all of our yards with one exception. We do have one yard with tons of old tin but it's all GM.

Wow, a perfect hood lip trim piece is about as rare as an actual Grabber hood these days

    Location ?

Do you mind telling me where this yard is ? Maybe even a name? only one yard in our area that's got a couple Mavericks and they've been picked to death.

Looks like you guys had a great time ... nice picnic table.

Anybody else notice that whenever these guys get together, there is ALWAYS food involved in there somewhere. ;)

I spent a few hours in the junkyard myself yesterday, too. There are 4 LKQ yards in the area that are U-pull-its. For a few days now, they are having a half-price sale, and one yard an hour away from me had 2 Mavs at the same time. This is very uncommon here because they cycle through cars every 60 days.

There was a rough 71 four door and a very clean 77 two door, as in too nice to be in the jy ....

Met another Mav owner while there and I came home with a load of stuff. Nice way to spend the day.

For you guys who are snow-bound ... it was 74 degrees and I was wearing too many layers. It was a chilly 57 when I set out in the morning.

it's a pretty sweet hood also.
I was going to get it but decided to leave it for someone that would be looking for one. :)hmmm:...still may get it) I have a Grabber hood, a flat hood w/scoop, fiberglass cowl induction Grabber hood so this may wind up in my collection...

That looks like fun and all that food on the hood. I got a Mustang shelf for Christmas. The headlamps turn on. To bad they don't make a Maverick shelf.
