Is the original still in the car? I did my first and only this past summer. The installation is not as difficult as you would think, although it does take some time. The most time consuming part for me was cleaning up the butyl after removing the front and rear glass.

Need a bunch of small clamps to pinch it at the edges while the glue sets. Binder clips will work.

Way too far for me to help or else I would.. It actually goes pretty easy just take your time & let things set up. Make sure of the glue you choose to use weather you have fresh paint or not, the 3m stuff I used eats fresh paint so read the label before you go at it like I did.

The original has been gone for 25 years, thanks to my kids! More than 30 years ago, the girl across the street did one on a 71 Grabber for another girl we knew. They pulled the windows and did it! I may have her come help.

The bows are color coded if you still have those.

They are all there, I just rolled some black fabric over it years ago. But I am missing the rear hooks for it.

Not sure how criticle those are to finish it up. You have the front and back gasketts?

I did mine remove all fix in place glass

Remove quarter glass and seals and upper door seals

Clean all surfaces to be glued and have a lot of spring clamps 15 to 20 min.

    Install top Bowes in order

Start in front pull and clamp it in place ( no glue and don't trim )

Go to the rear pull and clamp it in place (no glue and don't trim )

At this point IF your happy with the way it looks then glue and clamp both ends (one at a time and let glue dry ) trim later

Then repeat on both sides one at a time trim later

If you have wrinkle in the fabric you can use heat gun or hair dryer to get them out and tighten it up the fabric be careful with the heat gun or it you have a steam cleaner use it

    Good luck have fun

I'm thinking this is a two or three day project.. Not something to rush.

That's the problem, I need to do this in the driveway. But I guess my wife can give up the garage a day or two.

Be nice to do outside where you can have the room to work and have the doors open. Then inside overnight..

Not yet, I just got my windshield, and the car is in the body shop getting the rear frame rails straightened. Next week or two.
