My Uncle Picked Up a Nice '71 Comet GT

We are still waiting on the Mercury head center caps. They were out of stock and said they should be shipping them out soon. We still have the Mustang center caps that were on the car when we bought it.

 

The wheels/tires look great. 'Still to high in the front.

The car originally came from South Carolina and from what we were told was painted because the sun had faded the original paint and stripes really bad.

That would be cool! My uncle and I go to lots of cruise-ins when the weather is good. We actually weren't too far from you where we bought the Comet. It was in Clear Brook, VA right on the WVA line.

You should come up to Carlisle for the All Ford Nationals. Lots of us Maverick people will be there for a Mini-Meet.

 

We come to the All Ford Nationals every year. We brought my uncle's Grabber Blue '71 Maverick Grabber in 2012. We are probably going to bring his '71 Comet GT this year.

We took my 2011 Mustang in 2013, but still came and checked out all of the Mavericks and Comets.
