Just a more limited cross section(not that Mav's and Comet's don't already have a limited cross section as it is) of folks who'd be interested in them, is all.

Not to try and racially bias the design here.. but I still keep in touch with a few Hispanic friends in So Cal and Texas that would be all over those seats if they had a Maverick or Comet to put them in. Another guy I worked with in So Cal had an early 90's Caddy with Ostrich seat/door inserts that looked really cool. At least until they went to hell from him and his buddies sliding in and out wearing dirty construction work clothes. lol

I do know that timing is everything when it comes to selling some things. Good luck with it.

Picked up a bunch of stuff I had sand blasted and powder coated, fenders and Cowlblasted.

Got door hung, and fender semi hung. Went and picked up some primer from ppg and sprayed driver side fender. Need to get some more clips from a hardware store, and will be able to hang other fender to tack cCowl in place for good fitment.

    Weeee

Ah....(blink, blink, blink) You should patent that idea, all you need to do is print measurements all over the cardboard and throw in in a plastic bag. I could see that selling easily at $19.95 a pop. Pep Boys, Auto Zone etc.. would suck those up like chicklets on the boarder after a hard night of drinking....

    Kevin,

It's a nice thought, but trust me, somebody somewhere would throw up a prior claim and I try my damnedest to stay away from anything involving lawyers. I've seen what these vultures are capable of doing to families, communities, and country!

Got pass fender primered, and a portion of the cowl. I need to remove the fender to remove it to finish, and seal up.

Should start doing some body work on the car in a week or two until I can get the front frame rails, and some rear wheels.

Going with 17x12.5 rear, 17x9 in the front. After considering everyones thoughts on the rear wheel size I will be going with a more street size tire rather than drag.

that sounds like a good choice for wheel sizes. it will look badass!!!
so have you started looking into what wheels you will want. that always a big decision.

I've seen what happens first hand with my son's divorce - you have to also include Judges, Masters and Guardians into that mix also

My first choice are chrome Cragar S/S wheels but these would easily be my second choice :thumbs2:

Got the cowl tacked into place to figure out the gaps between the fenders. Need to move it towards the drivers side about 1/8 inch to have even gaps on both sides and center the wiper ends more. Also have both fenders hung, and radiator panel. Need to finish welding up the trim holes on driver side. Was able to finish pass last night. A few little things to do like weld the antenna hole and set in primer after.

I need a extra set of hands though, so will be limited to get what I want done for a week or two. Trying to save up for the rims.
