tach, temp, oil pressure gauges. Put in the replacement speedometer (earlier 74 unit) since my original pod fell apart. Also got the original am/fm head unit working well.

Took it for a 30 mile spin and confirmed the C4 is suffering from the dreaded 2-3 flare. Another disappointing setback (project). This car sure is keeping me busy....

A friend came over and we put the comet on a set of scale. the total weight of the car with me in it was 2890 with 52 % of the weight on the front wheels. We made some adjustment to the caltracs bars to see if we could get little better 60fts out of it. I am going to test it out at the new Wild Horse Pass track on the 25th I will post the results

Stripped the chrome off of the windshield to water test it, hopefully it's just the seal that's leaking.

Welded in all but about 6 inches of the mustang floor pan on the front driver's side. It didn't quite match, but a hammer and cutting wheel does wonders. What a pain.

I fixed the right side of my lower rear valance. The bolt head wasn't run through the valance so it was loose and when I would hit a bump it would rattle like crazy!

Did the Taurus power window motor treatment to the passenger side. Now have to play with the electric lock actuator. Then on to the driver's side.
