Here is a few pics of the inboard spring w/ sliders instead of the shackles.

Using a laser line to keep everything on center.

And some pics of the drivers side inboard and slider bracket

Cool that you will be at the NMRA event. That makes me want to come spectate even more. I'll come by to meet you in person.

When I first read you were bringing the car here, I thought you meant you were moving here ...

Nice build, but at some time in the future if you really bump up the HP,go w/ an automatic or ditch that 8.8.The 8.8 will not hold up under a high HP stick car,I know because I`ve seen it.Guys in the Pro Stick class out of Maryland,& the Classic Gear Jammers out of NC don`t use 8.8s,they will tell you it`s an exercise in futility.

Interested to see how the dash electronics interact with a car this old as far as speedometer, tach, temp gauges etc. :thumbs2:

The 8.8 will be just fine for this little 425hp combo, If I decide to step on it down the road it will go to an auto.

The electronics will interact with any car regardless of age, its the wisdom of the installer that makes it happen. If the install sucks in a brand new car it wont work properly.
here is a similar dash in my 53 f100: works without issue.

Nice work on the cage! This is very cool, can't wait to see it done.

Are you posting more details on this build anywhere else?
