All of the 7.25 inch Maverick rears were 4 lug The Maverick 8 inch came in 4 lug and 5 lug. The axle tubes were smaller on the 4 lug rears, so a direct 5 lug axle swap is not possible. All V8 cars were 5 lug. 250 6cyl cars got 5 lug rears in some years. (our 74 did) The center sections were the same, all 28 spline open carriers with either a 2.79 or 3.00 gear ratio
My 69.5 had the small 7.25 rear and I would suggest stay away from that one - stick to an 8 inch rear, which are abundent or a 9 inch if you're luck to find one
