My car got a 34x17 garage/shop. Just for the Maverick. Works out good for me too, cause I was getting tired of working in the dirt. I kinda went on a binge buying stint at Wally-World and bought a Hot Rod Mag creeper, 2 hot rod 2 ton floor jacks, and a tool box for the truck. (Don't want the truck to get jealous and quit on me you know). Preston

P.S.- About the age of the thread, I for one plan to be here and post on it next year too. :D See ya'll here?? Preston

Some friends of ours gave my car a set of monogrammed detailing towels and a certificate entitling me to a custom built trophy shelf made by my friend.

I was looking through the dates and it looks like it skipped a year. there were posts on Dec. of 02, Jan. of 03 and then jumps to Dec. of 04. There werent any posts for Dec. of 03.
I didnt even realize that it was started that long ago when I posts mine! Thats pretty cool!

I picked up a couple items on the cheap...

I got a set of small bumper quarter extensions given to me, all 4 parts.
I had a remote bullet laying in a milk crate for a few years... it had a broken mirror and the control cables had be cut off with dykes when the mirror assembly was removed from the donor car. Mine had a bent bullet and the remote handle was broken off.
I hybrid all the good parts together and put a Mercury remote arm in the control.
It was very easy to rebuild everything and now I have a perfect unit. It was so easy that now I am getting the parts together to convert the passenger side to remote control.
I was in Memphis for a few days and picked up some odds and ends I had stored there. One item I brought back was a 'new' chin spoiler. I have had it about 15 years, but never installed it on anything.
The other thing I got was a Nascar air cleaner that my uncle had laying around for a long time. He paid 30 bux for it from a Nascar parts clearance, he sold the unit to me for 20 bux.
It is much like a Moroso drop base 14" cleaner, only better.
Some things I like about it:
    No logo of any kind
Much deeper drop than a standard street drop base
Best of all, it is super lightweight, bare aluminum in construction

That is what I have done for the holidays.
    Dave
